I've long been a proponent of the idea that even the grandest of ambitions are best approached a single step at a time. Which is why my mantra at 5280 has always been "just a little bit better." More great news this week: I'm happy to announce that Robert Sanchez's "This is Ted Johnson's Brain" has been included in "The Best American Sports Writing 2010," a national anthology which was published today.Robert's story was one of two in the collection that examined the frightening long-term consequences of football-related head injuries. After a rough couple of years, magazine ad sales are bouncing back:
It's only March, but Hearst Magazines' chief marketing officer, Michael Clinton, expects ad sales for his titles will be burning up this summer.
